Loud Rage Music is one of the unfortunately very few genuine labels from Romania. In a country where 90% of the bands selfproduce themselves, Loud Music Rage offers, beside the five local bands already signed (Whispering Woods, Ordinul Negru, Marchosias, Akral Necrosis, Hatemode) a nice surprise: a foreign band with a contract under a Romanian label! This one is the young band Grieving Mirth, little known to us, but with this debut album that opens your taste slightly from the first listening. With members from various parts of the world (Mexico, USA and UK) and who are not already famous from other bands, Grieving Mirth easily captures the attention even from this material: post black metal, a fresh musical direction, the perfect choice for a band at the debut album. On this music where everything is for almost three decades divided into two - primitive black metal and melodic black - Grieving Mirth is a chalenge, a breath of fresh air. Very enjoyable and unpredictable vocal pats - all 5 songs have lyrics in Italian laguage. An excellent material balanced between post-apocalyptic and avant-garde black metal sonorities, difficult to compare to other bands (maybe Aborym, Arcturus or Void of Silence on the early years). Beyond the typical prejudices, Grieving Mirth is a pleasant experience for how metal can be performed in 2015.
